I bought two vouchers for the canvas prints, but when I tried to redeem them on the same order it wouldn't let me. Apparently the fine print is somewhat misleading and you can only apply a single voucher per order, which means you can't combine them to save on shipping costs. On top of that they also do not tell you up front that the sales tax they charge is based on the retail price, not the... Read more

It seems like Picaboo doesn't have the best reviews out there, which is surprising, but I just wanted to give my input - the product I received from Picaboo actually turned out great. I had bought the groupon for 100 5x7 save the date cards (149.99 value) for $37.99. Luckily that day, I had a discount on groupon so I actually paid a total of $26.59. Then I went on the Picaboo site and made my... Read more

Please don't use this company. We got a groupon for a canvas print and designed it online using their absurdly difficult to use design tools. It looked great on my computer, but when the canvas print arrived it was more than 1/4 inch out of alignment, cutting off the bottom of the print. I wrote and complained, and they said while normally they wouldn't cover something like that, I could... Read more

I have recently noticed that people usually only give online reviews when they are angry, so I've made it a point to go on some review sites and air out my CLEAN laundry. I ordered my holiday cards and four photo books from Picaboo.com and they turned out great! Our cards were a nice, heavy stock and there were lots of options to choose from. The books were also great quality -- crisp photos,... Read more

They sell you individual discounted vouchers for their products but the fine print is carefully crafted and misleading. Bought vouchers for different products: book, prints, canvas. When I placed the order, only one voucher could be used at one time or I have to place separate orders with separate inflated shipping charges. What good is selling you a free shipping voucher if you can't use it... Read more

I've used picaboo 6-7 times. I would get the 35$ for 100$ voucher and then pay 10$-12$ in shipping. I get the same size with lay flat pages every time. Today I had to pay a total of 47$ to check out on top of the 35$ I already paid for the voucher. WTH?? Just paid 87$ for a photo book. I'm using MY Publisher next time. My friends get a hundred page book for around 45$ when they run... Read more

I ordered a custom photo-book from Picaboo. It arrived today. The print quality is terrible. It looks like someone did a draft print-out and sold it instead of the quality product. Every page in photobook product contains clearly visible grid-like pattern. This is terrible even compared to results of one-hour photo service prints. It looks like a bad Chinese quality, but for an exorbitant price.... Read more

Be cautious of Picaboo specials, I bought a coupon for a $7 softcover 6x8 photobook. Shipping by Picaboo within the US for this small book was $8.99. WOW, for this very small thin size, it would cost me about $1 to ship and an average company would charge about $4.99 to ship (with handling). So the total for my "special" with tax was almost $17.00. Of course they don't advertise their... Read more

I bought a voucher for an 8x8 photobook. What I got is a 8x6 book cause you don't choose the size of your book until the end, when you are going to order your book. WTH? I suppose to know the size of my book prior to order it! But no, they just give you the chance to choose between "landscape or square" that's it! And then (when your book is in you car, no way to go back) they tell you the sizes... Read more

I have done several Picaboo photo-books over the past four years, and the most recent one tells me they have really gone downhill. In the first few books I made, the colors were bright and the pictures sharp. The pictures from a recent book were grainier and dark, the colors poor. Their business model involves selling so many vouchers, that they obviously have had to cut their costs to the bone... Read more
